A founder of the firm, Marvin Kushner retired from the practice of law in late 2012. Mr. Kushner had a long and prestigious career. He concentrated his practice in title and conveyancing matters, real estate and business law. Early in his career, he was a sole practitioner, counseling a broad range of small businesses. He represented a number of Massachusetts banks in their formation and lending activities. Before coming to the firm, he was a partner at Barron & Stadfeld, P.C. in Boston. He has served as past president of the Massachusetts Association of Bank Counsel, and later sat on the Board of Directors and served as co-Chair of the Residential Conveyancing Committee of the Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts. Mr. Kushner was educated at Bates College and received his law degree from Boston University School of Law.
